UC San Diego Library Section of UC's eScholarship
The UC San Diego Library Section of UC's eScholarship includes academic scholarship created by UC San Diego Library staff.
Instructions on how to deposit and best practices for submission are available on the eScholarship Submission Guide.
- Scholarly articles are covered by the UC Presidential Open Access Policy if written after October 23, 2015. The policy allows the accepted author manuscript (post-peer reviewed) to be deposited in eScholarship.
- Books and book chapters should be submitted according to publisher guidelines and signed author agreements. We suggest that authors and creators negotiate the author agreement and retain their rights, including the ability to post a version in eScholarship.
- Other works that have not been previously published (such as posters, presentations, digital collections, education resources and syllabi, data) are accepted on the condition that they are openly accessible. Be certain that permission has been granted for any content (e.g., images, audio, video) with copyright held elsewhere or for sensitive data to be publicly accessible in your work.
- Do not submit instructional materials and online guides for library tools to eScholarship. They may be submitted to the California Digital Library Instructional Materials.
