Campus Resource Centers Collaboration

This project expands a current effort to engage with three campus resource centers: the Black Resource Center, Intertribal Resource Center, and Raza Resource Centro. The goal of the initiative is to center the voices of underrepresented students, build awareness and understanding of student needs, and gather information on how the students view and use the Library.

Intended Outcomes

  • Staff and students from the Black Resource Center, Intertribal Resource Center, and Raza Resource Centro will experience increased feelings of inclusion, belonging, and representation in both Library spaces and collections
  • Staff and students of the Black Resource Center, Intertribal Resource Center, and Raza Resource Centro will gain a better understanding of Library resources and services, leading to expanded usage of Library spaces, and engagement in services and collections
  • Stronger relationships between the Library and the Black Resource Center, Intertribal Resource Center, and Raza Resource Centro, leading to increased collaborations in the future
  • Qualitative data and feedback from the users of the Black Resource Center, Intertribal Resource Center, and Raza Resource Centro can be used to generate recommendations to increase inclusion
  • Higher scores for the Library on the Student Satisfaction Survey
